Have you noticed how everybody takes it for granted a bad experience is automatically all bad? That nothing good could ever come from a bad childhood? I'm hearing the comment more and more often that we have become a victim society. Maybe this is true. Well, maybe all the bare facts of your childhood are true, but isn't it time to start looking for the positives that are buried in all that negative stuff?
We all need energy to live and to survive. As long as you think this energy has to come from other human beings, you will get caught up in struggle. Because human energy is limited. You have to fight for it. Its the responsibility of each and every person to generate energy by himself and not to depend on other people. Loving another human being is giving him energy! See the difference? Do you want to love your loved ones or steal their energy?
People pleasing can be a defeating habit in a persons life, simply because the act itself takes your focus off what you CAN control, and puts your focus on to what you CANT control, which is somebody elses happiness and peace of mind. Here is a perfect example to illustrate my point:
